If you visited this site when it was Mike’s Doc Blog you undoubtedly wondering what happened. Blogging about my experience as a doctoral learner ran aground of my employer’s social media policy. The world has become such a place where organizations are more concerned about controlling the message through controlling what is said rather than ensuring the activities and actions of organizations puts them in a positive light. No, nothing was said to me directly – I inferred from the policy and other conversations about employee bloggers.
None the less, the economy as it is, I stopped blogging about my doctoral experiences some time ago and let the blog fade. I haven’t finished my Ed.D. and I hope soon to get things back on track.
